American Diner

My trip to Europe was during the summer 2016 and I still have quite a few pictures to post, but I am going to take a Euro break and post some older photos from previous trips.  These pictures were taken in Fairbanks, Alaska.

I went to Fairbanks in December 2015, I wanted to see the northern lights, which I will post about later.  But for now I am posting this diner.  One thing that struck with me in Fairbanks is how American it is.  I don’t know exactly what I was expecting, I think something a lot more foreign since it is so far away from the main land, but it wasn’t, it is just like any other American town.  We drove to the North Pole, another town, from Fairbanks and encountered this little diner in the middle of nowhere.  I loved the contrast of it against the snow and the decor inside was very stereotypical American, which I loved.
